Carolyn Elaine Jackson Tinkham Everybody s Mom Carolyn Elaine Jackson Tinkham, wife, mother grandmother, daughter, sister, teacher and friend passed away April 26, 2013. Born to Billy Bob Jackson and Elaine Sarah Mantovanis Jackson on October 4, 1943 in San Diego, CA. Married Thurber George Tinkham June 14, 1959 and later solemnized in the Oakland Temple, August 1, 1972. They were blessed with 5 children; Phillip (Jill); Kathy (Lyle) Elliott; Karen (Scott) Singletary and William Billy (Kim); 10 grandchildren. Every now and then, someone comes along who blesses every life they come in contact with. Carol is just such a person. We cannot express, in these few words, the impact that she has had on so many lives. Carol is one of our Heavenly Father s choicest spirits. We rejoice in the blessing it was to have her in our lives, and eagerly await that glorious reunion with her in heaven. Survived by husband, Thurber, children; sisters Marilyn (Dave) Stephens, Dianne (Dennis) Childers and brother Steven (Charyl) Jackson, mother, Elaine. Preceded in death by father, Billy Bob; son, Kenneth Paul and grand-daughter Tasha Ann Brammer. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 2, 2013, 12:00 noon at Taylorsville Central Stake, 1950 W. 5000 So with viewings Wednesday, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and at church Thursday, 10:30-11:40 a.m. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
