Carolyn Sue Garrett

Carolyn was born April 10, 1947, and left us June 27, 2014. She had a great sense of humor and loved her family. Animals were at the top of her list she had no trouble taking in lost souls and giving them a home. She taught her dog, Petey, to be a clown and he loved her back deeply. She would share anything she had with anyone. She is survived by her daughters, Debra and Kristina; son, Herbie, who passed away in 2005; grandchildren, Heather, Jerrod, Joshua, Destiny, and Casy; great-grandchildren, Walter and Matthew; siblings, Chuck, Mary, Neil, and Kim; and many other loved ones and friends. We could always get advice and comfort from Carolyn at a time we needed it. She never judged anyone and had acceptance in her heart for all. She was an awesome mom and friend. She was willing to give of herself at any time and always willing to listen. Carolyn has always worked, but said her favorite job was when she worked with adults with disabilities. She was very involved in their lives and they loved her. She retired from that work in 2009. We miss you so much, mom. Our lives have changed with your being gone.
