Carolynn Marie Vitullo Mathews

June 3, 1935 — January 1, 2012

Carolynn Marie Vitullo Mathews 1935 ~ 2012 Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend was called home to reside with her Father in Heaven Monday, January 1, 2012. Carolynn has always shown strength and honor during her life but never more so than recently. She became the true Heart of her family. Carolynn was the greatest encourager who was full of life and had the most beautiful brown eyes. She had a huge amount of courage, displayed it continuously and always loved a joke or two. She brought joy to all those who knew her. Carolynn was a peacemaker at heart but was a fighter when life required her to be. Grounded in her faith and the Lord she brought comfort to those around her. This soul of an angel will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, John Mathews; 7 children from previous marriages: Angela (Jerry) Secrist, Rod Lower, Cathe (Mark) Measles, John (Phyliss) Galbraith, Bret (Mike) Lower, William (Jiyoung) Galbraith, Patty (Kevin) Marwedel; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Walker. Preceded in death by her parents, John Anthony and Ada Eleanor Donnell Vitullo; sons, Eddie Galbraith, Scott Lower; brother, Robert J. Vitullo. Carolynn, thank you for blessing our lives.
