Dear Mom, October 4th, the Lord decided that you needed to go home and leave behind your loving husband of 51 years, Val Baker and your children Jerry (Bobbie), Steve (Dorthy), Randy, Danise (Wes) and stepson, Val Baker Jr. I guess he needed you to go home to control your other children that left before you: Connie Bucans and Doug Gibbins. Your parents up there are tired of trying to control them. You also leave behind tons of grandkids and great-grandkids that we just can't name them all. You were born October 24, 1931 to Horace and Catherine Ockey and you passed on October 4, 2018 much to our dismay. Please help us celebrate mom at a viewing on Friday, October 12, 2018, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the LDS Ward house on 3274 South Hillsdale Drive (2760 W.), West Valley City, and again on Saturday the 13th from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Services will follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, Millcreek, Utah.
