Cecil Fay Simpon "Cec"

Cecil Fay Simpson 88, died December 26, 2016 in Ivins, Utah. Born December 16, 1928, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Merle and William Simpson. Married Josephine Mackintosh January 2, 1953. Cecil first worked as an upholsterer. Cecil then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he was deployed to Korea. Upon his discharge and return home he started his own business Cove Tops Inc. Cecil was always happiest when he was building or upholstering something. He is survived by his daughter Cindy (Tim) Reder; son Rock (Christy) Simpson; 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and brother Joseph L Shelton. He was preceded in death by his wife Josephine; parents; infant brother Creth. A viewing will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Rd. Taylorsville, UT. A graveside service and interment to follow, 12 noon at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley, UT.
