Cecil G. King Jr. 1939 ~ 2013 Cecil Glenn King Jr. was born November 1, 1939 in Moore, Idaho and passed away May 12, 2013 in Taylorsville, Utah. Cecil and Alice were married in the Salt Lake Temple May 29, 1958; after 53 years she preceded him in death. With his passing he has given her one of his greatest Mother s Day gifts, which is to be with her forever. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings including a full time mission to Nauvoo, IL and two service missions, one with the Church Family History and the other with the Deseret Industries. Cecil had a zest for life and loved to be with people, especially his family. He would often be seen doing all kinds of projects which usually included the handling of a drill. He is survived by 7 children and their spouses; 18 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and 4 sisters. Also preceded in death by parents and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 17, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at the Bennion Ward, 5980 South 1300 West. Viewings will be Thursday, May 16, 2013, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Friday at the church, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment, Murray Cemetery.
