Cecile Marie Jackson December 8, 1947 ~ January 26, 2014 Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Cecile Marie Jackson, age 66, passed away January 26, 2014 surrounded by family. Born December 8, 1947 in Washington, DC, to Joseph Allen and Annie Christella Hansen Naylor. Married Errol Jackson on June 21, 1974 in the Salt Lake Temple. Cecile had a very strong testimony of the gospel. As you listened to her teaching classes, you could feel of her joy and happiness and especially her enthusiasm. Those with whom she worked also felt of her love and concern for them. She thoroughly enjoyed teaching. Her service to those around her was genuine and unpretentious. She has touched many lives for good. Cecile loved the arts, symphonies, ballets, operas, Hale Theater and literature. Cecile will be missed dearly by her family, close friends, and her cats. She is survived by her husband, Errol; her son, Colin; her daughter, Emily (Michael) Tucker, and by a sweet precious grandson, Jackson. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 1, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at the Granger East Stake Center, 3274 Hillsdale Drive (2760 West). Viewings will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
