Charles Leo Gilley Charles Leo Gilley, age 92, passed away on December 15, 2011. Born September 27, 1919 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Ernest N. and Florence Maguire Gilley. Married Ruth Breeze on October 14, 1944. Served in the Marines throughout World War II. Retired from Kennecott in 1983. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. Loved to travel with his wife, Ruth. They visited every corner of the world. Loved gardening. For 55 years his family has supplied pickling cucumbers to many loyal customers. Survived by his wife, Ruth; son, Keith (Kathy); daughters, Sandy (Frank) Campbell, Becky (Kurt) Allgaier, Elaine Boccagno, Bobbie (Jack) Elmer, Deon Gilley; 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by one grandson. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, December 19, 2011, 1:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Viewings will be Sunday from 5-7 p.m. and Monday, 12-12:45 p.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
