Charyn Jessop

Charyn Lynne Jessop, age 76, of West Jordan, Utah passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023, after a long illness with M.S.

She was born July 29, 1947, in Leavenworth, Kansas to Howard and Alice Hassett, raised in Long Beach, California, and has lived in West Jordan for 46 years.

Preceded in death by our son, Travis, and her parents Howard and Alice.

She was married to Jay T. Jessop on July 2, 1977, in Long Beach, California.

She is survived by her loving husband Jay, her grandson Matthew and his wife Emily, and great-granddaughter Layla who was the joy of her life.

A viewing will be held Friday, November 10, 2023, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

Graveside service will be Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
