Cheyenne Ada Humphreys "Our Beautiful Angel Girl"

Our angel girl, lived a life of happiness and joy. Passed away from health issues on March 4, 2017 surrounded by the love of her family. Cheyenne, was born on June 27, 1997 to William and Nancy Humphreys. Cheyenne's older sister Autumn and older brother Malcolm made Cheyenne's life full of love, care and friendship. Cheyenne touched everyone's lives that she came in contact with. Her smile, caring way and inspiration to each day was what made Cheyenne special. Cheyenne came into this world fighting for life and had to keep fighting throughout her life as she went through many surgeries and never ever complained and always came home. This last health battle was more than Cheyenne could overcome and went back to her Heavenly Father. Cheyenne, graduated Granger High school in 2015. She loved all the friends, classmates and teachers that showed her love and friendship. Cheyenne earned the Supper Lancer Award for her kindness to others. Cheyenne was attending Post High school where she has made many new friends and great teachers helping her in everyday life skills. Cheyenne is survived by parents Nancy and William Humphreys; sister Autumn; and brother Malcolm Humphreys; grandparents Mike and Peggy Wright; many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her grandparents Jay W. and Ada Jeane Duke Humphreys; many great-grandparents; and a cousin Justin Hendrix. We the family would like to express our thanks to Primary Children Hospital and their staff for the love and care of Cheyenne and our family. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 9th, 12:00 noon, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where viewings will be held, Wednesday, March 8th, 6-8:00 p.m. and again prior to services from 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
