Christopher J. Hardy 1972 ~ 2012 Christopher James Hardy, 40, passed away August 26, 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born April 14, 1972 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Melvin C. Hardy and Leatrice Showalter. Survived by mother and stepfather, Tom McBroon; siblings: Lydia J. Homer; Steve (Jenni) Hardy, N. Laura McBroon, Bonnie McBroon (Taylor) and Mary McBroon; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father; loving grandparents, Larry and Norma Amodt. The family would like to thank all those who helped take care of Chris over the years. Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2012, 3:30 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. A viewing will be held Friday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to support mental health. Occupation:Landscaper
