Christy Jo Bedke

Christy Jo (Weis) Bedke, age 48, passed away peacefullyat homeon Wednesday, October 31, 2018. She was born to loving parents Christopher and Geniel(Webb)Weis on August 4, 1970 in Delta, Utah.She married her husband Gordon Bedke in Salt Lake City on September 7, 1990. She spent many of her younger years dancing in a variety of styles.Christy enjoyed reading, sharing a movie with her family, and camping. She worked in the insurance industry for 25 years, where she was always known to go above and beyond. She will be fondly remembered for her quick wit, her stories, and her guiding hand. She is survived by her husband Gordon; three children Cody, Austin, and Racheal; father Christopher (Carol) Weis; sister Jennifer (Paul) Christensen; and grandchildren Jordyn and Caleb. She is preceded in death by her mother Geniel. A memorial service will be held at McDougal Funeral Home at 4330 S Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah 84123, from 2 pm to 4 pm on Friday, November 9, 2018. She will be laid to rest in Basin Cemetery in Oakley, Idaho. In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to a charity of your choice.
