Our beloved mother, Clara Bernice Brow Saddler, 97, returned to her Heavenly Father January 15, 2016 due to natural causes. She was born June 11, 1918 to George W. and Clara Mae Brown in Coalville, Utah. She married Elijah Edward Saddler in Farmington, Utah in October 1939 and later solemnized their marriage in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on March 8, 1955. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church and served in many callings. Started the first Cub Scout program in Kearns. Served an LDS Church Mission in Indianapolis, Indiana from 1982 to 1984. Also served an 18-month Temple Mission in St. George, UT. She had a strong testimony of the gospel and shared her testimony often. She was known for her service and compassion to others, always remembering everyone's birthday and anniversary in the family and sent birthday cards to friends and ward members for many years. She had a love of gardening, especially beautiful roses, going camping, fishing, spending time with family, working crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. She was a great sports fan and loved BYU. She is survived by four of her children and spouses: Carol and Reed Murdock, Ed and Shauna Saddler, Dick and Connie Saddler, Robert and Vickie Saddler; sons-in-law, Sam Schrader and Dennis Larsen; 21 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Elijah Edward Saddler; daughters, Sharon Street, Linda Schrader, Deon Larsen; son-in-law, David Street; and grand-daughter Jennifer Green; her parents George W and Clara Mae Brown; sister and brother-in-law Thelma and Harold Birkeland; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Rose Marie Timmons. Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 20, at 11:00 a.m. at the Jordan Parkway Ward house, 1510 W Parliament Ave, West Valley, UT. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at the ward house and Tuesday evening at Mcdougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, UT, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
