Daniel Knutson Gone Fishing Dan passed away August 23, 2012 into the arms of Heavenly Father due to complications of Parkinson's disease. He was born August 18, 1932 in Stone, Idaho to Lester A and Caroline Nattress Knutson. He married Lois Morton November 9, 1951 in Twin Falls, ID; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Dan served in the US Army during the Korean War, drove truck for most of his life and retired from ABF in 1992. He was a member of the Local 222 Retirees. After retirement, Dan and Lois traveled and he loved fishing. Preceded in death by parents; 3 sisters; 5 brothers. Survived by his wife, Lois; sons, Clif (Cindy), Darold (Michelle); daughter, Lori (Al); 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; brothers, Jay and Gale; several nieces and nephews; and a very special cousin, LaRue Wahler. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2012, 12:00 noon at the Taylorsville Gardens 2nd Ward, 4052 South Bennion Road (1950 W.) Viewings will be held Friday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
