Clay was born in Chandler, Arizona on January 3, 2001. He resided in Queen Creek, Arizona for the majority of his first 18 years of his life. He spent some of his high school years in North Vernon, Indiana where his heart remained. Clay passed away on March 14, 2022 in West Jordan, Utah. He attended American Leadership Academy & Queen Creek High School and played baseball and football.
Clay was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed traveling across the country for his work as a refrigeration technician. Clay loved family, fishing, diesel trucks, his dog Duck, laughter, friends, country music, and country living.
Clay is survived by his parents, Jerry and Natalee Hahn; siblings Tyler, Maycee, Alayna (Laynee), and Brody; along with his grandmother(s) Sheena McIntosh, Merri Drake, Carol Hahn; several aunts; uncles; and cousins.
Clay was preceded in death by his great grandmother Patricia Garrett Meyer; grandfather(s) Michael R. “Smiley” Smith, and Monty Ray Hahn.
Memorial services will be held on March 23, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Cloud Creek Stake Center building located at 21915 Cloud Road, Queen Creek, Arizona, 85142. In addition, a Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00pm on April 2, 2022, on his parents’ farm in Columbus, Indiana located at 16625 E State Road 46, Columbus, Indiana, 47203. Clay will be laid to rest next to his grandfather at a later date in San Jacinto, Indiana at the Graham Baptist Cemetery.
Boots and jeans and/or western attire are acceptable and encouraged.
