Colleen Rae Larsen Parry, our dear, sweet and loving wife, mother, grandma, great grandma and aunt, returned to our Heavenly Father Monday, April 27, 2015 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Colleen was born July 26, 1937 to Raymond Peter Larsen and Mima LaVon Bagley. She was born in Copperton, Utah where she grew up and attended the old Bingham High School. On December 14, 1956 she married her sweetheart, Arnold Kay Parry, in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they raised 6 beautiful children, 27 precious grandchildren and 34 adorable great grandchildren. Mom's greatest joy in life was being with her family, from her fabulous holiday parties, to her sleep-over's with the grandkids, she made family time exciting. Mom had a great love of music and an astonishing singing voice. She sang for many years in the church choir and in the ladies choir, The Key Notes, where she made many dear friends. She instilled this love of music in her children and grandchildren. She taught her family how to serve others by her great example. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she spent much of her time dedicated to church service. Though she served in many ward and stake callings, her greatest love was being in the Primary as chorister and president of the largest Primary at that time where she could share her love of music with the children. She found pleasure in her flower garden, especially her beautiful roses, and she was and forever will be a true and blue BYU cougar fan! Thank you to the Horizon Hospice staff for their tender, loving care of Mom. We will miss you Mom! Colleen was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters; and grandson Kory Gallagher. She is survived by the sunshine of her life, Arnold Kay Parry; children, Jeff Parry (Colleen), Kayleen Smith (Brad), Krista Gallagher (Kevin), Kellie Kenison (Dan), Kari Berry (Jeff), Korin Hatch; her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
