Connie Ann Thorup 1971 2013 A Celebration of Life will be held for beautiful Connie Ann Thorup, age 42. She passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully at home in Doylestown, PA. She was born in Murray, UT on May 22, 1971 to Kenneth F. and Luana S. Thorup, the 5th of 7 children. All will miss her fun-loving personality and quick sense of humor. She was very well known for her Halloween bashes, Super Bowl parties, and other events. She participated on the debate team and played tennis in high school. She also loved to read books, volunteer at the children's school, exercise, paint and decorate her house, and make sure her 3 children got the best of everything. She also loved to travel and visited many historical and exotic locations throughout her life. She learned a lot about Autistic Spectrum Disorder, aggressively pursuing the very best care and treatment for their son Alex by spending countless hours on research and helping him. Alex is high-functioning, thanks to his dedicated mom. Connie graduated from BYU in 1993 with a degree in Accounting. She received a Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac University Law School in Hamden, CT in 2002 and was a member of the CT Bar Association. She worked for several accounting firms and law offices prior to dedicating her life to the care of her children. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings in Primary and Sunday School. Her highlight of church service was as a youth Sunday School teacher. Connie married Todd R. Tippets whom she met at BYU on August 10, 1992 in the Salt Lake Temple. She is survived by her husband and 3 children who were the love of her life: Alexander (14), Anna (11), and Andrew Tippets (8). She is also survived by her parents, brothers Mark (Mona), Andrew (Sandee), and Scott (Megan) as well as sisters Raelynn Frederickson (Bryan), Kelli Thorup, and Shelly Taylor (Jonathan). She had 27 nieces and nephews who often referred to her as their favorite fun-loving aunt! A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on December 12, 2013 at 11am at the LDS Stake Center at 3175 West 3100 South, West Valley City, UT.
