Courtlandt Rich Waldo

Our loving husband, father, and grandfather, Courtlandt Rich Waldo, passed away peacefully at his home in West Valley City, Utah on February 23, 2019. Court was born on June 20, 1945 in Los Angeles, California to Marvin and Okla Waldo. He married Sally Rae Staples on April 3, 1970. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Court enjoyed fishing and golfing and loved being around his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Sally; his children Travis (Trudy) and Tracie (Jake); his grandchildren Marquela, Makenzy, Zachary, Megan, Brayden and Dillon; his brother Charles and family. Court is preceded in death by his parents; and his granddaughter Shyann.

We would like to give a special thanks to Evan and Rachel at Hearts for Hospice as well as the Huntsman Cancer Institute for caring for him in his final days.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 2nd, 1:30 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. A viewing will be held prior to services from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Road.
