Craig Dick Haskell, 76, of Tooele, Utah went home to his Heavenly Father on November 22, 2024.
Dick was born on July 6, 1948, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Laurence Eugene Haskell and Irene Adeline Smith. He graduated from Cyprus High School and later earned several degrees in business from Salt Lake Community College.
Dick honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a Green Beret. He then dedicated his military career to the United States Airforce, retiring in 1988 as a Master Seargent.
He married Diana Haskell, with whom he fathered Tori and Rich. He later married Sandra Kay Haskell on April 14, 1996, and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on August 25, 2018.
Dick had many hobbies, and a huge love for sports, karaoke, collecting Disney toys, and working tirelessly in his yard. Dick was always on the go and always had to be doing something.
Dick is survived by his children; Tori Hales (Roger), Rich Haskell, Brandie Minnig (Daniel), Joni Haskell (Skylar), and several other "adopted" children; grandchildren, Todd Hales (Ryane), Rachel Myers (Marshall), Kelsey Hales, Alexander Hales, Sarah Minnig, Rebekah Minnig, Alezander Minnig, Emma Haskell, and Oakley Wright; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers Eugene Haskell, and Terry Haskell; and sisters-in-law, Doris Buckley Haskell, Judy Haskell, and Jill Haskell.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Laurence Eugene and Irene Adeline Haskell; his loving wife Sandra Haskell, her daughter Julie Haley to whom he was also sealed; his brothers, Phillip Haskell, Kevin Haskell, and Richard Haskell; and his sisters-in-law, Gail Haskell, Linda Haskell, and Cheryl Haskell.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 10.00 A.M. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. A viewing will precede services from 9:00-9:45 a.m. Interment will follow at 12 noon, at the Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah.
