It's with heavy hearts to say that our beloved son, brother, uncle and cousin Dalton S. Carpenter(Shookie) passed away unexpectedly at home November 3, 2017. Dalton was born December 5,1995 to Jodie and Richard. Dalton grew up in Kearns and Taylorsville Utah. Dalton was very talented at tinkering around and taking things apart then putting them backtogether. He loved to tease and joke around, especially with his mom. He enjoyed workingbeside his father. Dalton had a very kind heart and always put other people's needs in front of hisown. He always made sure his mom was well taken care of before he would go anywhere. Healso loved playing with his nieces and nephews. Shookie loved his phones, lighters and candles.We have always referred to him as a busy body that loves the Las Vegas atmosphere. Wheneverhe had the chance he was always trying something new. He is survived by his parents Jodie and Richard; siblings Lacey (Kameron), Richard and Traves(Shantell); grandparents Opal Carpenter and John Ortez; nieces and nephews Addison, Lyllie,Tyson and Gage; countless aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends; and long-time girlfriend Chylaine. Those that would like to come and celebrate Dalton's life are welcome to join us. Funeralservices will be held Thursday, Nov.9th, 10 am, at McDougal Funeral Homes, 4330 SouthRedwood Road. Viewings will be held Wednesday, Nov. 8th, 6-8:00 pm at McDougal FuneralHomes, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday 9-10 a.m. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens1075 E 4580 S, Millcreek, UT 84117.
