Dan Kenner Lambourne, (also known as Brownie, Jack, Corky, Grandpa Target and Big D) died November 14, 2015 in the arms of his daughter. Brownie was born 8 January 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Scipio Kenner and Florence Sudbury Lambourne. He married the love of his life, Stella Ann Winn, on 1 July 1953, Stella Ann's 19th birthday. Together they raised 5 children, Rick (Cathy), Sherrie Norris, Daneen Toombs (Dennis), Lori Christiansen (Randy), and Nancy Taylor (Kirt). Dan served his country honorably from 1948-51 during the Korean Conflict, something he was very proud of. Corky was one of the best girls' softball coaches. He coached his daughters continually. He was instrumental in bringing "Bobby Sox" softball to Utah. He also enjoyed coaching his son in Babe Ruth baseball. Jack was a great example of eternal love. He loved his wife of 62 years. He was asking for her up until the final moments of his life. Big D loved Disneyland, BYU football, traveling and a number 5 no cheese with a large diet coke (little ice). Dan is survived by his wife Ann; 4 of 5 children; 21 grandchildren, 25.75 great-grandchildren; sister Virginia Cottrell; and several nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Sherrie Ann; his granddaughter Amber Lambourne; his brother Jack; and his sister Gerry Rodgers.
