Darleen Marilyn Lelis Dintelmann

November 17, 1942 — February 20, 2016

Darleen Marilyn Lelis was born November 17, 1942 into the Lelis family that numbered 3 daughters. Her parents, George and Gaylie Hudson Lelis, were industrious and hardworking and provided a way for all three daughters to work beside them at their Temple Super Market. Darleen was so good with the customers and diligently worked hard doing everything needed at the store. Darleen married Lee Montano Jr; they were later divorced. She then married Leo Dintelmann. At her death she was divorced and single. Darleen was independent and very responsible for her own needs. She took care of herself and loved her cats. She was thoughtful and caring to them. We like to remember how she was before the BiPolar illness worsened. She had a kind heart and was friends with those she met on the street, at the bus stops and in the grocery stores each and every day to the end of her life. As a young mother, Darleen was always thinking of her children and doing the best she could for them, working with them, and encouraging them to work hard and do good things. She loved them so much and was very proud of them. She had a personal relationship with her Heavenly Father. In her later years, she sought solace in prayer and from studying the scriptures. Darleen is finally free from the debilitations of the BiPolar illness. In later years her body and mind were sadly affected by this illness. She is now at peace. Darleen is survived by her children, David Lee Montano, Traci Moon; grandchildren Brynn (Jason) Anderson, Trisha Montano, Matthew Montano, Kody Dougherty and Amanda Marie Moon; and 5 great-grandchildren.
