David Keith Jones

David K. Jones 1944 ~ 2011 David Keith Jones, 67, passed away August 13, 2011. He was born May 2, 1944 to Vern E. and Georgia Jones in Salt Lake City, Utah. He married Alicia Kiehm July 22, 1975 in Elko, Nevada. Between them they had 8 wonderful, beautiful children: Jeannine (Mike) Griffiths, David Jones, Cheryl (John) Schow, Rick Jones; deceased, Dan Jones, Rebecca (Stephen) Anderson, Misty (Justin) Wing, Louie (Trisha) Jones. He also accepted Jinichiro Shibahara as a son. He was raised with 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Bill (Roberta) Jones, Tim (Judy) Jones, Ken Jones, Penney (Chris) Jacobson and Angela Wright (Scott Anderson). He had 5 brother-in-laws: Len Kiehm, Doug (Racheal) Kiehm, Don Kiehm, Louis Kiehm and Steve Kiehm; 23 grandchildren (2 deceased); 1 great-grandson; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and extended family, especially Paul and Sherry, whom he played cards with almost every Saturday night. Over the years he had driven truck for Safeway, Air Liquide, Road Runner, Lonesome Dove and Salt Lake County. He was the most wonderful husband, father, papa, brother, uncle and friend that any of us could have ever wanted in our lives. A viewing will be held Friday, August 19, 2011, 6-9 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Cremation to follow. Sunday morning to Scofield, UT for fishing and scouting for wildlife.
