David Kevin DeGraw 1958 ~ 2013 David Kevin DeGraw; son, father, grandpa, and husband, was born October 14, 1958 in Salt Lake City. David is the son of David DeGraw and the late Shelly Tietjen DeGraw. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and served 2 years as an honorable full time missionary in Brazil. He graduated with his doctorate degree in law, receiving his Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas after serving in the United States Army as a chaplain's assistant. He practiced law as a profession. Kevin loved learning and was attending college at the University of Utah to get a degree in physics. Among other hobbies, he enjoyed reading, history, and politics. Kevin wrote two books during his lifetime. He passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in his current residency of Salt Lake City, Utah. He is survived by his wife Ludmila DeGraw; children: Michael, David, and Jeffrey; stepchildren: Evgenia (Justin) and Pavel (Apryl); siblings: Christine Sorensen (Thomas), Joseph (Audry), Larry, Matthew (Sarah), and Nathan (Danelle). Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Liberty 4th Ward, 142 W. 300 No. Visitation with family and friends will be held Monday, 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
