On January 16, 2018 we said goodbye to our father, David Reed Klemme, due to complications from health problems and Influenza. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 30, 1952 to William H. Klemme and Vivian Dean. Dad has 3 siblings: Dean (Dora), Joanne (Cedric), and Cheryl. He married Janice Feil in 1976 and had 4 children: Shanda (Marlow), Alina (Chris), Landon (Nikki), and Tera (Brandon). Dad was a truck driver for 40+ years and made many good friends in his co-workers. Dad could easily make a friend or strike up a conversation with just about anyone. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his sweet dog, Angel. He loved being a Grandpa, going fishing, and working in his yard. Dad was a tough man on the outside but a teddy bear on the inside. He had the warmest embrace and a smile that made his eyes disappear. Dad has been reunited with his parents, our mom, brother-in-law (Cedric), and some dear friends. He is survived by his children; 12 grandchildren; siblings; and other family and friends. A special thank you to Aunt Cheryl, Paul and the family and friends who offered support while Dad gave it his all.
