David Thomas Goddard

Our loving husband and father was welcomed into God's arms on Friday, April 10, 2015. David was born to Mary Ann Greene and Thomas Goddard in Cleveland, OH, on October 16, 1956. He married the love of his life, Evelyn LeFevre, on October 7, 1977 and sealed January 26, 1979 in the Salt Lake Temple. He graduated from Lake Catholic High School, class of 1974. He earned his Bachelor's Degree at Westminster and his Master's at University of Phoenix. Dave enjoyed all sports, particularly baseball and his Cleveland Indians. He served faithfully in civic callings and church callings. He was a hard-worker and devoted his time to serving others. He loved gardening and anything outdoors. Most of all, his happiness came from family. Dave is survived by his eternal mate; mother Mary Ann (Hal) Hovland; children Julie (Kregg) Clemens, Tony (Lacie) Goddard, and Traci (Alejandro) Reyes; siblings Susan (Craig) Stahle, Steven (Stormey) Goddard, Nancy Goddard, Laura Dewhurst, and Betsy Dewhurst; and his own baseball team of 10 beautiful grandkids. Preceded in death by his father, Thomas Goddard and sister Donna Nordstrom. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 16, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at the Sunset Ridge Stake Center, 8107 South 6700 West. Viewings will be held Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd and Thursday at the church, 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery, 500 Crestwood Rd.
