He was born on February 20, 1960, in St. Louis, MO, and reborn through Holy Baptism as an infant at Hope Lutheran Church. He was confirmed in the faith at Hope on April 7, 1974. Throughout his life, moves, and travels God lavished on David his much-needed grace and forgiveness through his Word and Sacraments. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, their two daughters Monica and Naomi Brandt, their son David Todd Brandt and daughter-in-law Heide (Rappuhn) and six grandchildren, Max, Hailey, Ella, Lillie, Abel, and Pearl.
