David Wayne Taylor

David W. Taylor passed away June 20, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born July 19, 1964 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Leon Lamar and Margo Fonnesbeck Taylor. He was raised in Ogden and attended Ogden schools, graduating from Bonneville High School. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission to the Chile Santiago Mission. After his mission, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Weber State University. He worked as a manager at Pizza Hut and for Hercules Inc. David loved sports, especially football and golf, and was a fan of the Chicago Bears. He loved horse racing, especially the chariot races. He played football in junior high and high school. He was an avid reader who enjoyed Western novels and had an appreciation for Native American culture. David had a great sense of humor. He had a unique way of looking at things and loved a good conversation where he could discuss varied topics and also the simple things in life like glazed donuts, ice-cream, Mountain Dew and playing games with family and friends. Survived by brother, Darin Taylor, Ogden; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by parents; grandparents, Joseph E. and Ethel Taylor, Paul and Maurine Fonnesbeck. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Roy Andrus and his family for the tireless and devoted service they gave to David.
