Dawn Stoker Woodhouse

March 1, 1932 — February 27, 2016

In loving memory of our beloved mother and grandmother, Dawn Stoker Woodhouse, who passed away February 27, 2016 of natural causes. Dawn was born on March 1, 1932 to Sterling Wilson Stoker and Vera Anderson Stoker. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She grew up in Sandy, Utah where she met and married her best friend and the love of her life, Grant Molen Woodhouse. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Dawn loved the teachings of the gospel, teaching her children and grandchildren the truths and blessings, forever influencing her posterity. She will always be remembered for her total devotion to her family, always sacrificing her needs for the needs of her family. Her grandchildren will remember the many traditions she instigated, whether it be camping in the woods, Christmas parties, or helping Dawn with putting together her intricate puzzles. Dawn was a loving, doting grandma and mom, adding a little sass to her teasing. Each of the family knew they had a cheerleader, best friend, and wise counselor in Dawn. She will be missed by many. She is survived by three of her children, Shari (Michael) Bunderson, Scott (Brenda) Woodhouse and Becki (Joey) Simmons; 29 grandchildren; and 61 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Grant Molen Woodhouse; and son David Grant Woodhouse. As per her request, no public funeral services will be held.
