Deborah “Deb” Ridinger (nee Ostler) peacefully passed away on June 6, 2022, surrounded by family and friends.
Deb was born in Murray on October 30, 1965, to Robert L. and Luana Lawson Ostler and was the youngest of seven children. She graduated from Kearns High School in 1984 and embarked on her lifelong journey of being a caretaker to all. Deb had an amazing outlook on life and was always the life of the party. Even through all the medical treatment one thing that never faded was her sense of humor, it was always easy to get her to crack a smile.
She spent 21 years working for Jordan School District as a teacher’s aide in the Special Needs Department and truly found joy working with her students who quickly became a part of her family.
She was survived by her husband and best friend Robert Ridinger; three children: Cody (Amanda), Tiffany (David), Nate (Jill); and 8 grandchildren; siblings: Paul (Toni), Bruce (Jean), Mike (Roberta), Randy, Cindy, Boyd (Leann), and Ricky.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents; sister-in-law Anita Ostler; and her nephew Brett Ostler.
We’d like to thank everyone who has had a hand in taking care of her over the last few years, especially the angels at Cascades at River Walk. Our family absolutely felt the love, and truly can’t thank them enough.
