Della Mae Mutchie passed away December 18, 2021 after a short yet courageous battle with cancer.
Born January 21, 1940 to Robert Thompson Lindsay and Elizabeth Mae Reynolds in Mountain Home, Utah. She grew up on a farm with her brother and sisters that would instill in her tough and compassionate ways and attitude.
Della met the love of her life, Larry at Moon Lake when she was 20 years old and he was 19. They got married October 8, 1960 and welcomed their daughters in 1961, 1963 & 1965.
Della and Larry's love was truly unlike many others, surpassing many milestones including their 60th wedding anniversary. They loved the Utah Jazz and would watch every game together even if the Jazz weren't having a great season. They also loved camping and going on their own adventures out in the mountains. She loved to watch Dancing With The Stars and anytime it was nice outside you could find her in her gorgeous garden filled with dozens of different flowers to which she knew every one of them and just what they needed.
Above everything, Della put her family first. She was a trusted sister, an amazing aunt but she shined as a wonderful mother and an even more exceptional grandmother and great-grandmother.
Della is survived by her soulmate of 61 years, Larry Mutchie; her daughters, Geri (Todd), Teri and Debbie; grandchildren, Robert (Jessi) and Kourtney Mae; great-grandchildren, Maya, Ariana, Zayden, Zayne and Aria; her sisters, Carol (Dan) and Rosalie (Dennis).
Della is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Elizabeth Lindsay; her brother, Bobby (Enra Rae); her two granddaughters, Nicole and Sasha.
