DeLoye Rose

November 21, 1937 — December 15, 2023

DeLoye Carroll Rose, 86, passed away December 15, 2023. Born November 21, 1937, in Logan, Utah to Carroll DeLoye Rose and Dorthy Rebecca Cooper. He spent his younger years in the Cache Valley, later moving to the Salt Lake area where he graduated from Cyprus High. He worked in the medical and aerospace fields while living in Utah.

Married Cherie Jones, they had three children and later divorced. He was involved in many community services including the Salt Lake County Mounted Sheriff's Posse.

DeLoye later moved to California and worked in the plastics industry. He then married Margaret (Annie) Marshall and gained two stepdaughters. They enjoyed traveling and spending their time together. They retired to Arizona where he served as a commander for the Sun City West Sheriff's Posse. After Annie's passing, he moved back to Utah to be close to his family.

DeLoye was preceded in death by his wife Annie, father and mother, stepdaughter Shari. He is survived by children Cheryl (Craig), Allison (Mark), Justin (Mindi), stepdaughter Vicki, brother Terry and sister Becky (Dana), 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on December 23, 2023, 10:00 am to 11:00 am at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. Followed by a Celebration of Life in the Chapel. Interment will follow at Taylorsville Cemetery, 4567 S Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah.
