"Loving Mother, Remarkable Grammy" After a remarkable and wonderful life, Delynne Butcher Peay, of Provo, Utah, surrounded by her family, returned home to her Heavenly Father on January 13, 2014 from complications caused by the H1N1 flu virus. Delynne was 62 years old. Delynne was born October 5, 1951, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to "Bud" and Juanita Butcher. She married Garth H. Peay May 21, 1976, in the Salt Lake Temple, and had four beautiful children. Delynne grew up in Murray, Utah, and graduated from Murray High School. She then attended BYU where she found the International Folk Dance team, first as a student then as a director, teacher, and choreographer for 38 years. When Delynne wasn't sharing her love of dance, she also enjoyed traveling the world, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren who adored her. One of Delynne's best qualities was her spunky spirit! Whether it be cheering for her favorite sports team or gathering talent for the Freedom Festival, she gave all she had to everyone and everything. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she served in many Primary Presidencies and most recently as a Relief Society teacher. Delynne is survived by her husband Garth and her children: Britnee Fullmer (Quinn), Melinda Ibarra (David), Heather Britton (Aaron), Brock Peay (Kanani), and her seven beloved grandchildren: Beckham and Avenlie Fullmer; Dempsey, Sawyer and Briggs Ibarra; and Sawyer and Ruby Britton. She is also survived by her three brothers: Craig, Ryan, and Jeff Butcher.
