Dennis Peterson

Dennis Andrew Peterson, 81, of Taylorsville, UT, died on January 2, 2023, of natural causes. Born July 13, 1941 in Salt Lake City, UT, to O. W. "Pete" Peterson and Grace James.

Dennis spent his early life in Pocatello, ID and Bountiful, UT. He graduated from Bountiful High School.

One of his first jobs as a bag boy in a grocery store eventually led to a career in the grocery business and he worked as a manager at various levels for several different companies.

Dennis liked a simple, quiet life and enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, golf and walking his dog.

Dennis is survived by his brother, James Peterson of Bountiful, UT, daughter, Kim Nuckols and husband David of Edgewood, NM; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and best friend and caregiver, Lynn Coombs of Taylorsville, UT.

Dennis was predeceased by his daughter, Paige Lynette Peterson, and his brother, Jack Peterson.

In keeping with his preference for things simple and quiet, Dennis requested that there be no funeral or memorial service. We will remember him in the quiet moments; on the lakes and the golf courses and while grilling burgers and walking our dogs.
