Don William Duffin 1928 ~ 2012 Don William Duffin passed away December 19, 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Don was born June 10, 1928 in Glenwood, Utah to James Stephen Duffin and Hazel Emma Foy Duffin. Married Renee Lambert in Magna, Utah on July 27, 1956, later solemnized in the Manti Temple. Don served in the United States Army during World War II and was stationed in Germany. He retired as a carpenter from Kennecott Copper. He was a member of the LDS Church and served an LDS Mission to the Western States where he and his brother Hal were mission companions. Don had a delightful sense of humor, enjoyed hunting, camping, woodworking and square dancing. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his greatest delight. He is survived by his wife, Renee; son, Gerald (Chauna); sister, Diane Duffin; three grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tanya; mother and father; sister, Nola Schaugaard; and brother, Hal Duffin. The family wishes to thank First Choice Home Health & Hospice for their care during his final days. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 27th, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where viewings will be held Wednesday, December 26th, 6 - 8:00 p.m. and again Thursday, 10 - 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
