Donald Dell

July 27, 1941 — March 17, 2018

I lost my sweetheart, my best friend, the father of my children, and my eternal partner, Donald Dell, on Saturday, March 17, 2018. Don was known to most as "Papa." He was born on July 27, 1941 to William Bill Dell and Pauline Allsop. He was the oldest of 3 siblings: Connie Garcia (Rudy) and Jerri Carlson. Don is preceded in death by his father, mother, grandson Jordan, and best friend Spitty. Don is survived by his wife Peggy; and their 4 children: Troy (Carolee), Kelly (Kristin), Donielle (Freddy), and Donavan. His kids blessed him with many grandkids: Trevor, Dallas (Lauren), Kody (Taylor), Josi, Justine, Preston, Deaven, Dallen, Rylan, Easton, and his angel grandson Jordan, and his 5 great-grandkids: Claire, Logan, Jake, Pearl, and Jones. On September 22, 1972, Don married the love of his life, Peggy; they were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS temple. He loved the family he married into and was so grateful for the children Peggy blessed him with. At any given day, you could find him at the ballfield watching his kids and grandkids play baseball, football, basketball, BMX, tennis, dance or cheerleading. He loved to listen to great music and enjoyed blessing the world with his wonderful voice. A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 22, 2018, 12:00 noon, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where viewings will be held Wednesday, March 21st, 6-8:00 p.m. and again prior to services on Thursday, from 10-11:45 a.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates. "We love you to the moon and back." Place of Birth:Salt Lake City, UtahPlace of Death:Taylorsville, Utah
