Donald Neff

Donald Devon Neff was born on October 22, 1941, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

On February 10, 1971, he married Lynette May Jones in the Salt Lake Temple.

On August 23, 2024, he peacefully left this world and reunited with many loved ones who had passed on before.

He is survived by his Son Leonard (Diana); 3 grandchildren, Michael, Kimberly and Dawn; 1 great-grandchild (Mercedes - daughter of Kimberly); and many nieces and nephews.

In death he was preceded by his wife Lynette Neff; parents Donald and Myrle Neff, Ileen Lindsay Cosgrove (Foster mother); and siblings Ranae Doris Nielsen and Beverly Pratt.

Whether it be some yard work or clearing out a driveway with his snowblower in the winter, or some other act of service he could be found helping out others without being asked.

On Thursday, September 5, 2024, a viewing will be held from 6-8 P.M. at the McDougal Funeral Home, located at 4330 south Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. On September 6, 2024, at the Taylorsville 10th Ward Building located at 4950 South 1950 W, from 10-10:45 A.M. a viewing will be held, followed by funeral services at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at the Midvale City Cemetery.
