Donna Wilma Sessions

Donna beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call on March 22, 2020, in Ogden, Utah. It was sort of an offer you can’t refuse. A reunion with her eternal husband and dance partner LeRoy Sessions of 67 years, and many of her family and friends. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, and dancing. Music, laughter, and love are guaranteed. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. She left detailed instructions for her children, grandchildren, to celebrate her mission here, which has now been completed.

Donna was born September 21, 1930, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Benjamin Tall and Olive Whitehead Tall. She married Leroy Smith Sessions October 21, 1948. Their marriage was solemnized later in the Salt Lake Temple. 

She left behind three children: Thomas (Robbie) Sessions, Shari (Michael) Cannon, Ron (Rick) Burbidge-Sessions; 8 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 06 great-great-grandchildren; brother Douglas George Tall; sister-in-law Lillian Tall.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Smith Sessions; her mother Olive Irene Whitehead; father Benjamin Franklin Tall; brothers Gary Tall, Jack Tall, and Earl Tall; father and mother in-law Harry Sessions and Lucy Smith Sessions; sister in-law Carol Tall, Kay Tall, Vera Ludwig, Beth Larsen; brother in-law Horace Ludwig, and Lloyd Larsen.

A private family graveside service will be held at this time due to public health regulations, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date (TBD). Please share online condolences in the guest book shown below.
