Donna Soper

Our beloved Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma, Donna Lee Soper passed away October 7, 2022 with her daughter and son by her side. Donna was born January 25,1938 in Centerfield, Utah to Ralph C. and Mada Ann Bardsley.

She loved her family more than anything in this world.

Donna was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the gospel and held many Stake and Ward callings throughout her life.

Mom always thought of others before herself.  Even before she passed, she was worried about those she was leaving behind, if we would all be okay. She was worried about her beloved Gracie and wanted us to promise we would take care of her (and we will) She was her constant companion and Gracie is going to miss her "Mama"

Mom has missed our Dad for nearly 42 years, and we teased her that we hoped he wouldn't hide when she got there. We're sure there is a joyous reunion going on!

Donna is survived by her daughter Wendy (Scott) Roosevelt; son on Craig (Cindy) West Jordan; her most treasured grandchildren Tyler (Jen) Justin (Laci) Kody, Karissa (Mike) Brady (Kylie) and RyLee.; her beloved great-grandchildren, Rhett, Paityn, Rowdy, Eli and Saylor; her brother Gene; sister- in -law Marlynn and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jim; her parents; and several brothers-in-law; and sisters-in-laws.

Donna will be greatly missed by countless neighbors and friends whom she loved dearly.

We would like to thank her wonderful neighbors who have helped so much in these past weeks, it was difficult, and we don't know what we would have done without their help.

A special thank you to the nurses and doctors on the 9th and 5th Floors at IMC who were so sweet to our mom; especially Randy and James. Thank you so much.

A viewing will be held for Donna on Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 9:00-10:45 am at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville Utah; followed by a graveside service at 11:30 a.m., Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley, Utah.

Mom, we will miss the Christmas Toothpaste and the Caraway Pumpkin Pie.
