Dora F. Nunnelley, age 94, passed away on July 19, 2017, from causes incident to age. She was born December 16, 1922, to Reuben and Edith Adams Fuller. She graduated from Bear River High School. She married Robert A. Nunnelley on July 16, 1946, and they had two daughters, Ann (Terry, deceased) Kump, Joyce (Tom) Smith, and a stepson Robert (deceased). She worked for Century Link for 26 years before retiring. She grew up on a farm so would put all the kitchen scraps into the soil to make it richer so she could plant flowers, trees, and a large garden. She canned fruit from the trees and made juices and jams. She had exceptional sewing skills and would make clothes for friends. She taught sewing and cooking to all of her daughters' friends. She played and taught bridge, became an accomplished speaker through Toastmasters, and never met a committee she didn't volunteer and serve on. If you needed any of Roberts Rules of Order, she was your encyclopedia. She also worked for H & R Block for several years preparing tax returns, as well as preparing all of her family's returns. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Kump, Joyce Smith; daughter-in-law Marion Nunnelley; grandchildren Brooke Puls, Joseph Nunnelley, Michael Nunnelley, Kathryn Millet, Michael Smith, Daisy Smith, Tracy Jensen, and Travis Smith; one sister Ora Canfield, 23 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, and 3 brothers (Alvin, Howard, and Darald), and stepson Robert. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Salt Lake City. Friends may visit from 12:30 until 2 pm prior to the service.
