Our beautiful daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother passed away from a tough battle with cancer the morning of March 5, 2019 in West Jordan, Utah, surrounded by her devoted husband and two sons.
Doris was born on January 16, 1970 to William and Marcie Nicholson in Santa Anna, CA and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married the love of her life on December 10, 1988. They built a wonderful life together and were blessed with step-Son Tony and two boys Alexander and Jacob.
Doris loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, nieces and nephews. She also loved her morning coffee dates with her best friend Dianne. Doris was an amazing person that was always there for anyone that ever needed any kind of help. She lived each day to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, snacking, and spending time with her fur babies. She never failed to smile through the hard times and gave to others even when her health continued to decline.
Doris is survived by her husband of 30 years, Mark Satison; children, Tony (Laura), Alexander and Jacob; father, William; mother, Marcie; brothers, Bill (Kristie) and Robert; sisters, Laura (Michael) and Kira (Jasen); grandchildren, Bryson and Kaiden, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Doris Ford Nicholson; Nephews, Jonathan Nicholson, Thadious Jensen and Father in-law Richard Herbert Satison.
“Remember Me”
Remember me whenever you see a sunrise.
Remember me whenever you see a star.
Remember me whenever you see a rainbow, or woods in autumn colors from afar.
Remember me whenever you see wild flowers, or seagulls sailing high in the sky of blue.
Remember me whenever you see waves shining in the sun, and remember, I’ll be remembering you.
Remember me whenever you see a teardrop, or meadows still wet with the morning dew.
Remember me whenever you feel love growing in your heart,
And Remember…
“I’ll be remembering you”
