Dorothy Jean Todd Kelly, our beautiful and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and friend to many, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2020, at the age of 94.
She was born on February 23, 1926, in Sparks, Nevada, to Leroy Verner and Lena Mae Todd. She married Marvin William Kelly on May 29, 1943; solemnized June 8, 1962, in the Logan Temple.
Dorothy loved playing games, especially dominos. She enjoyed listening to music and singing. She had many talents. She loved fixing things and could repair almost anything back to working order. In her younger years, she sewed everything from Barbie doll clothes to her children’s clothes. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was dedicated to her family and loved spending time with them. She will be missed beyond measure.
We find comfort in knowing she is with her beloved husband, Marvin, whom she has dearly missed these past fourteen years; her recently departed, precious son, Gary, and many family members and friends.
She is survived by her children: Jeane Nibarger, Rexburg, ID, David (Judy) Kelly, Bountiful, Carla (Lon) Lorimor, Wailea, HI, Janet (Ben) Lee, West Jordan, Sheri (Bob) Kane, Syracuse; daughter-in-law Susan Kelly, Murray; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; sister Thelma Mann; brother Vernon (Toni) Todd; brother Norman (Linda) Todd.
