Douglas Harold Hansen

August 2, 1948 — August 16, 2021

Douglas Harold Hansen, 73, of Salt Lake City, Utah. Passed away on August 16, 2021.

Doug was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. He worked and traveled with his brother-in-law for Wasatch Electric, then later worked for Jordan School District, where he retired after 20 plus years as a custodian. He loved his job and they all loved him.

Doug loved his three daughters so much and was close to his son-in-law. He loved camping with his family and friends. He loved the Uintahs and Clydes Creek and hunting in his younger years.

Doug loved to cook; he was quite the chef and also loved his cooking shows. His favorite pastime was old westerns and was a John Wayne fan. He loved all his friends at the Post and the Legion. He always made time for his family. He will truly be missed dearly.

Doug leaves behind his children Shauna Hansen (Renee Miller), Michelle Hansen (Shannon Palmer), Melinda Bouck (Adam Bouck); 3 grandchildren, Kaylin, Nickoles, Ashton; 1 great-grandbaby, Julie Joy; 2 sisters, Pam and Carol; 1 brother Michael Hansen; 1 brother-in-law Wayne Olson; and partner Karen Stewart.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, August 20, 2021, 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Murray Park for a small gathering of family and friends.
