Douglass N Tranmer Douglass N Tranmer, age 66, passed away on October 25, 2011. Born April 23, 1945 in Wendell, Idaho, to Walter Jay and Iona May Johnson Tranmer. Married his eternal companion, Linda Dee Elorrieta, on June 27, 1964, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Served his country in the US Navy. He brought much joy and laughter to everyone he knew, and touched many lives with humor and joy. Survived by his wife; three sons, James (Tanya), Joseph (Caryn), Stephen Skip (Caysi); 8 grandchildren; mother, Iona, brothers, Ron, Walt, Arlis, Terry; sisters, Janell, Gayle. Funeral services will be Friday, October 28, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at the Jordan Oaks 3rd Ward, 8035 South Leslie Drive (3905 West), where friends and family may visit 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
