Dwayne Melvin Ashley 1950 ~ 2011 Our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather passed away May 13, 2011 at his home in West Jordan, Utah. He was born April 5, 1950 to Russell B. Ashley and Jean Eads in Murray, Utah. He loved to be outdoors hunting, fishing, target shooting and camping. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren. Dwayne married Nancy Gurr, they had 3 children. Later married Joy Sperry on April 4, 1981 and they had 2 daughters. Survived by wife, Joy; children: Justin, Matt, Terryn, April (Josh) Moulton and Angela; grandchildren: Taylor, Riley, Kein, Rhiannon, Brandon, Lorryn and Jade; brothers and sisters: Laura, Donna, Ken, Diane, Russ, Gary, John, Chris, Dorothy, and Wendell. Preceded in death by father, mother, and sister Darlene. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 12:00 noon at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, with a viewing Tuesday, 7-9:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and again Wednesday 10:30-11:15 a.m. at the Funeral Home prior to the graveside services.
