E. Arlene Elder Anderton 1928 ~ 2012 E. Arlene Elder Anderton, passed away January 30, 2012 in St. George, Utah. Born September 8, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of Henry F. Elder and Edna Berg Thorup. Married James Dee Anderton June 13, 1949. They were sealed October 14, 1989 in the Jordan River Temple. Arlene had a great love for her family and her sweetheart of 62 years. She is survived by; daughters, Christine (Joe) Parker and Terri (Royce) Prince; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, John & Henry. Preceded in death by her parents; Henry & Edna; brother, Leroy; sisters, Mary, Esther, & Virginia. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 3, 2012, 12:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where viewings will be held Thursday, 6-8 p.m. and Friday, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
