E. Roy Hayes Ted E. Roy Hayes, 94, passed away April 14, 2012. Born June 1, 1917 in Grantsville, Utah to Roy and Ethel Clark Hayes, the oldest of 10 children. Married Betty Jane Tonnesen April 4, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Survived by wife of 68 years, Betty; children: Margaret (George) Ahlquist, Robert (Alice); 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, James Grand-pre; siblings: Ken (Glenna), Cleo (Donald) Cook, Jack (Joan). Preceded in death by daughter, Jean Grand-pre; son, Russell; siblings: Clyde, Dean, Vaughn, Wally, Pete and Wanda. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 20, 2012, 12:30 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held Friday, 11:30-12:15 p.m. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
