Edna Mae Rose passed away peacefully on September 7, 2022, surrounded by family at the age of 93.
Edna was born in Granger, Utah on May 18th, 1929, daughter to John Park and Ferol Newcomer.
Edna married Dan Rose on November 15, 1951, then later sealed in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Salt Lake Temple.
She was a seamstress for many years at Beehive Clothing, a member of the Bennion Lions Club and held many positions at Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
She loved gardening, riding her bike, and walking at the Valley Fair Mall. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She is preceded in death by her husband Dan Rose, two brothers, one sister, and one granddaughter.
Survived by her sons Verl Rose, Larry Rose; daughters Dannette Rose, Shauna Lloyd; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 3 great great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Donnette from Hospice, and Chezley & Avery from Legacy Assisted Living for the loving care she received.
Services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at 11:00 AM at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. Prior to the services, a viewing will be held from 10:00 to 10:45 AM. Interment at 12:30 PM at the Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
