Edward Everett Peterson

Edward Everett Peterson 1947 ~ 2011 Edward Peterson was born April 27, 1947 and returned home on December 29, 2011, after a battle with cancer. Papa was a great man who enjoyed the outdoors including fishing, hunting and shooting his fire arms. Papa s grandchildren were his pride and joy. He always knew how to bring a smile into the room. Edward leaves a legacy of hard work and service to his country. He was always a patriot and stood proud. Served our country in Vietnam with the Army Special Forces. Survived by his children: Marc (Melrie), Denis, Rodney, Mitch; 21 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchldren; 2 brothers, 4 sisters. Preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, 1 brother, and a grandchild. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Viewings will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park Occupation:Security Officer
