Effie Arlene Knight

Arlene Knight, 77, passed away March 19, 2018 at home in Taylorsville, Utah, surrounded by loved ones. She was born January 11, 1941 in Murray, Utah, to Leo James and Effie Euzina Glover. She had seven beautiful children and lots of grandchildren who were the light of her life. She was active in the LDS Church and served many positions. One of her favorites was singing in the choir and serving at funerals. She is survived by her children: Steven Stratton (Jan), Stacey Garlick, Anita Wilkerson, Shelly Siebert, and Nicole Graham (Eric); 27 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Cleo Chenoweth, LuDeen (Lamont) Beckstead, Linda Johnson; brothers, Charles (Virginia) Glover & Lyle (Naomi) Glover. Preceded in death by her mother; father; brother Jay Glover; sister Lois Mabey; sons, Leo James Stratton & Shawn Kyle Knight; granddaughter Kylee Knight. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018, 11:00 a.m., at the Taylorsville 1st Ward, 4845 S. Woodhaven Dr. (1365 W.), Taylorsville, Utah, where viewings will be held Friday, March 23rd, 6-8:00 p.m. and again Saturday prior to services from 10-10:45 am. Interment, Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Boulevard). In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated. The family would like to give a special thanks to Linda Johnson for all of her help and providing a peaceful place for mom to stay so she could go peacefully.
